Yesterday was the first rehearsal with our new music in Symphony. I can say this with full confidence that I'm going to love this next concert much more than the first one! That first rehearsal went much better than almost any other rehearsal for the other concert. I love this music so much more and am excited to play it! We have 3 pieces. A trombone concerto (that I don't remember the exact name of), Philip Glass's piece "Company" (I don't care that all his stuff sounds the same, I love it!), and Beethoven's 8th Symphony. I'm a big fan of Philip Glass and Beethoven so this will be fun! Here are a few clips of what we'll be playing.
This is the 1st movement of the Philip Glass.
And the last movement of the Beethoven. I'm not quite sure if we'll make it up to this tempo....

Yes, I do like a little Glass myself. And can't wait for the death march.
I think mom is thinking of the 7th symphony, not the 8th
