Asher Overload!

I haven't put pictures of Asher on here in a little, so here's a little overload!  He had a doctor appointment yesterday.  I was a little worried when I got his growth chart because it said he was 24th percentile for weight.  As soon as the doctor came in the room, I told him that I promise we've been feeding him!  He said he wasn't too worried because (he then flips to the height chart) all his energy was going there!  He's 97th percentile for height!  The doctor kept commenting on what a tall kid he was and how he looks much older than 9 months.  I get that a lot.  I joked around that people probably wonder why I carry my 2 year old all over the place.  Heavenly Father really does know what we need, because Asher is the perfect little boy for our family!

He kept trying to bite the handle on the cart.  I put my hand in the way.  That didn't stop him...

First time at the park!  He loved the swings!  This is one of my favorite pictures!

After we had dinner at my mom's house, they both fell asleep in the car.  It was a tiring day.

Asher and Ledger!  They're 10 months apart.  Asher loves to crawl after Ledger wherever he goes!

My sister told me she made a camo hat for Asher.  I said that's good because my chubby cheeked, dimpled, baby face boy needs something to make him look tougher.  I'm pretty sure he is even more adorable!

This is a smile, not crying!  Asher loves to give big cheesy grins all the time.  I sure hope he stays my happy, funny, loving little boy forever!

He finally started crawling!  He started with the army crawl and he just barely started crawling on all fours.

I bought this for $2!  I think it's one of his favorite toys because he gets to be really noisy (and he sure loves to be noisy!)  David doesn't appreciate it, but I can't take it away because of that adorable grin he gets when he plays with it!

Asher thinks it's hilarious when David gargles water (that's what the turkey sound is!).  He laughs this hard almost any time David does it!

He thinks gargling is so awesome, that he started doing it himself!  When he's drinking bottles he'll get a mouthful and do this.  While we were at my mom's house for Mother's Day we had to show her his new trick!

I swear I'm looking at a mini-David.

Also, gurgling is my #1 noise I can't even handle in my life, BUT, I wanted to hear Asher laugh so I watched those videos. The verdict: I still dislike gurgling noises, but that baby is SO SO sweet and cute and his dimple is FANTASTIC.

Question: How can you overload on Asher?
Answer: You CAN'T! I'd be happy if you posted this much about that adorable little funny guy every day.

I was at Walmart the other day (Going to Walmart in Texas is truly an experience!). I was waiting in line at the pharmacy and I heard a young woman's voice yell (she really screamed) ASHER!!!!! I jumped from being startled and then I started to look around for Linda and maybe your Asher! My hopes were dashed when I saw the Screamer Mommy of Asher. She was wearing flannel pajama bottoms with pink fuzzy slippers Poor Baby! I love your stories, pictures and videos MUCH better than my Walmart experience! Thank you for sharing, Abby!!

It is pretty much impossible to get tired of pictures and videos of this little guy. I hope he never outgrows his squinty-eyed cheese smile!
