More Summer Life

Well we didn't want to get too comfortable after we moved into our house, so 4 days after we moved in I decided to take the kids camping!  My family does a camping trip every summer and they were going to a place about an hour away, so I figured I could just take my kids for a day or so and take a break from all the moving chaos.  David was going to stay home and keep unpacking, but he surprised us by coming too!  We only stayed for one night, but had a lot of fun.  There was a pool right next to the campground that we had lots of fun going to.  If only there weren't so many wasps!  Ava did get her first sting and made her forehead swell up pretty good.  But overall I think we all had fun!
I think this is my favorite picture of Mia!
It was nice having one of the girls be able to walk!  It didn't cut down on the dirt that much though.
Early morning bottles.  They actually didn't sleep too bad.
My mom brought her 4 wheeler and trailer and the kids were able to go on rides around the campground!
She's so cute!
Driving home.  I stopped at the gas station about a mile down the road from the campground and 2 out of the 3 were already asleep.  Mia had fallen asleep with the bottle still in her mouth.

After the camping trip we had to get back to real life and start putting the house together.  It's taken a lot of work, but things are almost back to normal!  We still have lots of boxes in the basement, but the rest of the house is pretty much put together and we are starting to get used to our new life.

Ava LOVES David.  She is such a Daddy's Girl.
Asher is such a good big brother.  He wanted to share his show with Ava one morning.
And we start the phase where my kitchen is always a mess...
They love having a screen door!  Whenever I let Millie into the backyard they stand there and watch her.
Splash Pad with the cousins!
We watched my brothers dog for a few days.  Mia was in heaven-she loves animals and followed that dog wherever she went!  Mia got so excited she learned to say "doggy" and "Daisy" (the dog's name)
They like to get comfy in our bed.
Going to the zoo with the all the cousins!  We were a very loud and energetic group, but it was fun to be able to get everyone together!
If I can't find Asher in the house he's usually outside digging in the dirt.  He come in totally covered in dirt, but he has fun so I don't mind too much.  He'll have to be more careful next year when I can actually plant flowers and a garden!
They love their Daddy. ;)
I LOVE this outfit!  I'm so excited the girls still fit in it!  I may have to buy a matching one because this is the one Asher had when he was a baby.
Asher was "helping" Mia play in the dirt...
They have fun together.  Wherever one goes the other is sure to follow!

I am pretty amazed that you came camping, and even more amazed that David came too!
