When it rains...

There are so many things I've been wanting to write about just to get my feelings out, but it seems like every time I try, something else comes up.  This past week or so has been full of a lot of ups and downs.  Lots of family emergencies that we all needed to try to pick up the slack and help each other out, and lots of planning for my own little family that have been slowly but surely taking shape.  I don't mind helping out when my family needs help because, lets face it, that's what family is for.  And also, I know that when (not if) we need help, I don't want people to do it begrudgingly because they felt like I never helped them. 

It's been an emotional week and I feel like everything I had planned to do by Monday still hasn't gotten done.  I guess that's life though.  But I'm glad that we are close to my family during this time because I'm glad we were able to help out the little that we were.  It's been an exhausting week, but it's almost over!  And we have a concert tomorrow night, which is always something to look forward to!  A good end to a roller coaster week.
